The incumbents voted against fixing our roads

Chico voters passed the Measure H sales tax. On May 19, 2026, a motion to dedicate 51% of it to streets, roads and sidewalks failed 3–4, and incumbents Kasey Reynolds (District 2) and Tom van Overbeek (District 6) both voted no. Kasey Reynolds also voted twice, on April 7 and April 21, 2026, against applying for the downtown revitalization grant.

Shelby Hebert and Megan Thomas Petty will put the money where we voted it to go.
